So who wants to go to Sweden with me?

I recently saw The Brothers Bloom, and I highly recommend it. It’s very smart, and very funny, with good acting and brilliant directing from Rian Johnson. It’s a great sophomore effort from a director who we’ll hopefully be seeing a lot more of in the years to come. This scene from the opening of the movie will tell you more about it then I can, so check it out. I think it’s in limited release, so good luck finding it in theaters, but you should definitely go see it if you can.

By the way, if you don’t know who Rian Johnson is, I also recommend his first movie Brick.
So I just realized that I already failed to keep my at-least-once-a-day promise within a few days of starting my blog. So anyways, I’ll actually start for REAL now with a short album review. I know this is a bit late, as the CD has been out for a couple weeks now, but I didn’t have a blog when it came out, so take it for what it’s worth.
Now, this album, in short, is amazing. There’s such a wide range of songs, from the pumping, pounding anthem “Little Secrets”, to the near dystopian beats and haunting piano of “Swimming In The Flood” (perfect for nighttime drives, might I add), to the crazy, dreamy “Sleepyhead”. Seriously, I’ve had this album on repeat for the past two weeks. If you haven’t heard it, check it out. I promise it won’t disappoint, or your money back guaranteed*.

Here’s my favorite song from the album, “Little Secrets”:
*Note: I won’t actually give you any money if you don’t like it. Sorry.
This is my first post of my first blog ever. Don’t get too excited. Anyways, this blog will be about, as you probably have already guessed, crap that I find interesting. I’ll try to update daily, at least once, and I hope everyone enjoys.
